about

Lyrics are extracted from band emails during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

lyrics

We shelter in our places. “Sacred spaces”.
’til the bell curve falls to Earth.
We’ll sing and play together. “Stormy Weather”.
When the bell curve falls to Earth.

The past is so familiar: the comfort that we crave.
But set aside nostalgic schemes: the past is not retrievable.
The future — so inviting: something new to know.
But keep your social distance: the future is not predictable.

Is it Pandemic Time forever? “The 12th of Never”. “Well did you ever?”
Will the bell curve down to Earth?

It takes some time for the light to reach our eyes.
The present arrives in the dark.

Will the bell curve back
If the bell curves back
When the bell curve falls
Let the bell curve fall to Earth.
